View Full Version : How to fix audio synch on DVD?

I just bought a DVD9 (R0) recently...Shoot on Sight (UK film).

I made a CCE from this...and just realised after deleting my mpv files and audio files and the DVD9 files...that it is out of synch.

Any possible way to fix the synch issue ~ 120 ms? With OUT having to resort to RE-decrypting, RE-demuxing, RE-AUTHORING it again...?
Thankx.

It might be possible, but you haven't told us what file format you made, so there's no way to advise you.

So you re-authored it and it is out of sync.

If there is a constant sync offset, then *theoretically* it is possible to run through the VOBs and offset the PTS timestamps for the audio to fix it, but I'm not aware of any tool that can do that.

If it is a changing offset, then that approach won't work anyway.

AFAIK, you'll have to start again, and find out why your process is introducing desync.

I was actually thinking there MIGHT be some software that could change the synch by loading the .vob's through. I ended up demuxing my reAuthored DVD9, fixing audio delay via delaycut, and put it back together again...took less than 1hr. My question here was basically targetting a quick(er)-fix to this...thanks for your input
