View Full Version : WMNicenc Makes a Different Movie than Playing the AVS file?

My routine is always:

1-eac3to demux entire disc to folder
2-eac3to break dts to 6 mono wav files
3-TSMuxer put the h.264 file alone into a m2ts
4-Create AVS to point to m2ts
5-WMNicEnc encodes the AVS to wmv
6-WMEnc creates wma from mono wavs
7-Stream Editor muxes to final

My Best Friend's Girl - when I play the completed wmv it is correct for the first 1 hour 48 minutes, then after the credits more video starts up which is apparently alternate endings and outtakes. There is no audio at this point.

Now the crazy part. I load the avs file up in Virtualdubmod to check which frames I should trim for a reencode. It's nothing like the encoded version from WMNicenc. I'm dumbfounded. I know it's impossible but it looks like WMNicenc followed a different Program Chain or something.

Now that I've typed this all out, I'm wondering if this should be an eac3to question. ?? The audio seemed good, but the video file it gathered was much larger than the audio file, which indicates a problem. The video ended up being almost half again the size a video normally is. (150%)

Any thoughts?
