When converting an AC3 commentary track for a movie to mp3 with MeGUI the resulting mp3 is sped up really fast so the 90 minute track lasts about 15 minutes and then the rest is just silence... anybody know how to fix this?? I have tried some different settings in Lame but nothing seems to fix this.
When converting to OGG everything is fine... but I want to use mp3.
Can anyone give me some advice?

We need the AviSynth script and the comand line encoder to say something.

if you try to play your movie with MPC but the video and the audio are separate files then the .mp3 (if is VBR) will be out of sync...try to mux the video and the audio in one file and check for sync again...

Just to clarify, the mp3 is as long as the movie but all the actual sound has been compressed to the first 15 minutes or so (so it sounds all squeaky), the rest of the length of the mp3 is just silence.
This happens when I use ABR or VBR with LAME but when using CBR it comes out normal. If I mux or not makes no difference.
Anybody know how to fix this or am I stuck with CBR?
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out! It turns out I have to uncheck "Force decoding via DirectShow" in the MeGUI codec settings (it's on for every LAME profile). With that unchecked ABR works.
Thanks anyway! :thanks:
