Hi,

I want to access to the previous encoded frames (reference frames) in x264. Actually, I want to access to the motion vector of an arbitrary macro block of a reference frame. But how can I do so? Thanks!

Thanks! But where can I find AVC syntax? Actually, I want to know by which instruction (in x264 source code) I can access to a specific macroblock in a reference frame. Could you please tell me more about it?

I think you're going to have to figure it out just like everyone else does. Read the AVC specification and the x264 source code. Good luck!

Can't you post these highly technical questions at a more suitable venue. Maybe the x264-devel mailing list, or the x264 IRC channel.

Don't forget that Doom 9 is intended for DVD/BluRay backup.

I didn't anticipate that you would deluge us with highly technical matters regarding x264 internals. You're welcome to post the questions if you want. I'm just informing you that it is not the best venue to get the answers that you seek.

You ask all these deep questions that would require a lot of work to answer. But you don't share the reasons for your questions or explain the application so your audience can become engaged.

It would be as if I asked you:

What is the meaning of non-commuting operators in Hilbert space?

It's in the textbooks and without any context it's of no general interest.
