Not for sure which would be the better route . Fab with shrink . Or anydvd and maybe clone combo . Ive used the trials on both . I cant make up my mind which is better. I would like some other opinions on the subject.

It's all user preference.
Mine is Fab and DVD Rebuilder.

Although both combinations that you're considering can "do the job", the primary difference is that the DVDFab(HD)Decrypter plus DVDShrink combination is totally free, while the other combination is payware...

AnyDVD and Shrink works nicely for me.

I've used variations of both. Fab with Shrink (or Nero Recode) and Anydvd with Nero Recode (or Shrink). All works fine so you just need to decide what you like more the free software or the pay software. I happened to buy the Anydvd only because I wanted to get it before it went to subscription service and the Nero Recode came with my DVD writer. Neither combinations made much difference to the end product as far as I can tell.

DVD Rebuilder Pro is payware but there is of course the less well specified freeware version.
