Sorry for stupid question, but i don't know what to do...
I'm using MeGUI to convert VOBs into mp4. VOBs have 720x480 resolution. But when I checking "Suggest Resolution (mod16)" 720 changes to 656 and video distorting. Why? 720 multiple of 16. What resolution i must choose to have a correct picture? Please, help.
Sorry for bad english.

720x480 already is mod16, because 720 = 45*16 and 480 = 30*16 ;)

However 720x480, the native NTSC resolution, is always encoded anamorphic. The content (screen dimensions) is either 4:3 or 16:9, but 720x480 obviously is neither 16:9 nor 4:3.
(16/9 = 1.7777 and 4/3 = 1.3333, but 720/480 = 1.5)

So I think MeGUI suggests another resolution in order to undo the anamorphic encoding and restore "square pixles". So decide yourself whether that is what you want to do...
