Okay... It has been a LONG time since I posted here, and it looks like I've fallen WAY behind on the whole back-up scene.

I've recently purchased a modded Apple TV that I have been playing around with a bit. I've been pretty impressed by the quality of the iTunes purchased "HD" movies (720p?) to the point that I'd like to convert my HD-DVD collection to the Apple TV HD format for storing and viewing. I already have an HD-DVD drive (Xbox 360 add-on) that I can use on the PC, and I will eventually get a Blu-ray drive for my PC as well, so I'll be looking in that direction once I get the HD-DVDs sorted.

Now, before I get bombarded with the obligatory "use the search function" posts, let me say that I am using the search function. I am also reading through the threads as fast as I can, but due to the sheer volume of them, it might take me weeks to get it sorted. So...

Can someone point me in the direction of a thread/tutorial/tool that might get me on the track to HD-DVD backup bliss?

RipBot264 is pretty cool. I've been playing around with converting some 1080p fansubbed anime to 720p for giggles, and I've come up with a few questions...

Is there a way to add your own options to RipBot? Specifically, I'm looking to add a 160 ABR option to the audio profiles (128 is the highest offered), and a 5120 option for my 2-pass ABR bitrates (it jumps from 4096 to 6144 currently, nothing in between).

I am aiming to play these files on my Xbox 360, PS3 and Apple TV if I can, so I'm shooting for the lowest common denominator (Xbox 360) with the best quality I can get.
