Does anyone have some tips on record noise free analog?
I've tried the below two items but both had extra "noise" in the recording.
I'm able to record noise free using digital optical, but not having luck with analog.

Source is a Sony PSP using this cable:

Well.. there's going to be some audible noise in most analog sources, especially with consumer grade equipment.

Does the PSP have a proper line out, as opposed to a headphone jack? Headphone jacks have more amplification, and this isn't necessary for a line level signal (it leads to noise).

You may be SOL..

No, the for video/audio out, the PSP uses the same port as its headphone.

Sounds like there's the potential for a lot of analog interference there :(

I don't think you can do much better..
