I would like to take SVCD and convert it to DVD, i DO NOT MIND re-encoding the video/audio! I tired rempeg, it does not recognize the SVCD.mpg.

Thankyou in advance

Or try FlaskMpeg with the bbmpeg encoder works well if not slow

There are ways of doing it without re-encoding... check this thread

i personally would rather not re-encode it, because re-encode = quality loss...

You can treat it just like a VOB and read it with DVD2AVI. If you use TMPGEnc you can just frameserve it using VFAPI. If you use CCE, use AVISYNTH to resize and frameserve. You can resize to either 352x480, 704x480, or 720x480 (keeping MPEG2 and assuming NTSC, adjust for PAL). To REALLY be DVD compliant you should also encode at least one track into AC-3 (using SoftEncode).

Or if someone could give me a set of steps to go by. I cannot get SVCD.mpgs to load up in flask, or rempeg.
