From 2nd pass to 3rd pass: OK to overwrite?

hi to all,
I have a question about megui: when i select 3 pass mode after 2nd pass a window "file already exists" appear and ask me "The output file, 'E:\blabla\blabla\video.264' already exists. Would you like to overwrite?"
It is normal, it will be like a 3 pass video?

when doing manual 3 pass (which goes 1st, 3rd, 3rd, not 1st, 2nd, 3nd) there may be a file that needs to be overwritten as it shouldn't know the difference between your first 3rd pass then 2nd 3rd pass.
i dont think that should happen if your doing automated 3 pass.

but just to let you know the difference between 2 pass and 3 pass is virtually nothing. 3 pass is just if you cant hit the desired bitrate with 2 pass. as far as quality over speed goes, your much better off just increasing the settings on a 2 pass encode

but i done Automated 3 pass, so i expected megui didnt ask me nothing.

Anyway if you suggest me for only 2 passes, i will do it.
