I tried to cut a menu cell with VobBlanker but the menu buttons in that menu have disappeared ( as expected). I have tried Import and Export menu BOV but I still have a navigation error.
*** Dialog title: "PgcEdit: Load NAV pack"
*** Dialog type: error
*** Dialog message:
Error loading NAV pack from
"VTS_02_0.VOB"
at sector 4 (in file):
Nav Pack identifier not valid.
The VOB file *may* be CSS encoded:
You cannot edit a CSS encoded disc!
Or the VOB doesn't match the IFOs:
Try to do a mock strip with IfoEdit.

Is there a " not too complex procedure" to cut a menu cell?.

Thanks in advance.

If you cut a menu cell at an LBA after the subpic pack(s), then you have cut out the highlights!

PgcEdit is telling you that the navpacks which contained the buttoninfo don't exist anymore.

Use DVDSubEdit on the original to get the BMPs - save them to the desktop. You can then make a little DVD by muxing in the audio, BMPs and video from the cell. Once you have this, replace the cell with your little DVD and then import the buttons info using PgcEdit (if you have muxman pro, you can make the buttons using the compositor). Please also refer to goonix's sticky.

The other thing you can do is (from the original) use MenuShrink, VobBlanker or DVDRMP to make the cell into a still (with or without audio). This is very easy.
