HHPlus 1.0.5 Player for Hollywood Plus MPEG Cards (from hungarian guys)
This application allows you to view video files on your TV through your
Hollywood Plus MPEG decoder card. Currently it works under Windows98,
Windows ME and Windows2000.
HHPlus is based on DIVXPLUS. So generally it has most of the advantages and drawbacks of DivxPlus - however the authors tried to fix as many bugs as they could. The main purpose of developing this application was to make an easier to-use media player which supports playlist, subtilter filters, can possibly play streaming media, etc. (Streaming media support has not been finished yet, but we included an experimental playback option for testing pusposes).
So please be patient, and do not expect too much from this application. Try it, and if works than haleluja, if not than it's too bad:-(
Here : http://www.fpscentral.hu/divxcenter/ you can see, how it looks like, and you can download it, from the left side at the New files.

I downloaded it, but am wary of blindly running executables without knowing what the program is going to do (registry entries or .ini, for example). There is no readme file...
btw, I have got zoomplayer to do what you guys are talking about. It works very well. More information is in these (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13976) two threads (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13578)...
I would be happy to try the player out, but more information would be appreciated...

After you installed HHPlus, you got a readme file.
This is it :

Requirements:
=============
1) Win98 or Win2000
2) H+ drivers installed (and working:-)
3) DivxPlus installed
4) The required directshow filters (codecs). If you can see the given movie
in Windows Media Player then HHPlus should play it also.
5) However it is not required, but we strongly recommend you to use either
DivxG400 or DVobsub subtitle filter. These are necessary to view subtitles
and helps to display the movie at correct acpect ratio.
Known problems:
===============
1) If you are using Microsoft Office XP and you have its utility CTFMON.EXE
running, it'll stop HHPlus from playing movies. This problem is caused
REALmagic Hollywood Plus drivers.
SigmaDesigns suggests a temporary solution:
"A temporary solution is to disable this utility before the playback of
movies: press CTRL+ALT+DEL, click on CTFMON.EXE, and click "End Task".
After the movie playback, restart CTFMON.exe from Start-Run : ctfmon.exe &
OK."
2) WinXP is not supported yet, because DIVXPLUS has only drivers for w98 &
w2k.

HHPlus is based on DIVXPLUS's YUV driver & YUV2 directshow renderer, and uses
the following files from the DivxPlus package:
sdyuv.ini : ini file for the sdyuv driver for nt kernels
sdyuv.sys : wdm driver for windows 2k
sdyuv.vxd : vxd driver for windows 98
sdrender.ax : yuy2 direct show renderer
These files are (currently) not included into the HHPlus package.
And last, but not least, we owe a lot of thanks to the the author (we know only
his/her nickname,Jedimaster) for his driver/renderer. (Jedimaster, will you
ever improve the driver? WinXP support, smoother full screen picture, etc.?:-))
