Hello Autogk Forum!

I use (or would like to use) Autogk 2.45 on WinXP SP3.
I installed the needed codecs: via K-Lite Standard codec pack.
If I rip a DVD with DVDDecrypter, and I open the IFO (or VOB) file in Autogk (and set up the options) - Autogk begin analyze the content.
After some analyze steps, Autogk try to run VirtualDub.
And VDbub freeze. Always and immediately.
The error message screen of VDUB: see jpg file.
The error log of Autogk see autogk.txt
The error log of WinXP: see appcompat.txt

This seems a serious problem.
But-what is the problem here?
And I can't use another converter programs! Avidemux-freeze always, Handbrake-freeze always, AutoMKV-run, but do nothing, Nandub-freeze.

Thanks!

You don't need the K-Lite codec pack, in fact it's very possible it's broken AutoGK and your other converters.

From your log file:
EXCEPTION: Cannot open file "G:\HIGHLANDER5\VIDEO_TS\agk_tmp\interlace.log". The system cannot find the file specified

Unfortunately though I can't remember what causes that problem, but try saving the output file to a different drive or folder then the source video (therefore the agk_temp folder will be in a different location).

"EXCEPTION: Cannot open file "G:\HIGHLANDER5\VIDEO_TS\agk_tmp\interlace.log". The system cannot find the file specified" is usually caused by Norton, if I'm not mistaken.

Do you get such errors on other programs also? e.g when that Program Crash dialog box comes up?

I have encountered such problems earlier. I am not sure, but I was able to solve using UniBlue RegistryBooster. It was microsoft certified, so I bought it and it works perfectly....

But there might be freeware registry cleaners available. Try to search on google...

hope it helps..
