Hello,
I recently had some blu-rays backed up to .m2ts. Since reading about .mkv I thought I would change all my videos and sound to the matroska container format. I demuxed my .m2ts using tsMuxer to a .264 file, and a .ac3 file.

tsMuxer said that the video was 23.976 fps.

I put them into mkvmerge, set the framerate to 23.976, and made the .mkv. The video turned out to be slightly behind. I thought the only thing that I could have been wrong on was the frame rate. So I changed it to 25fps, and tried again. This time the video was way ahead. So I thought, maybe 24fps? I tried again, and the video is behind once again.

I'm not sure if i'm suppose to set a delay or not, or what fps i should be using. Is there a way to find out what settings I should be using to make everything match up?

Thanks alot,
KyleG
