On this player the menu worked for deleted scenes just fine. For play movie, chapter selection, and the other extras it showed an anti-piracy warning and restarted the BD. For audio/video selection it locked up the player. The deleted scenes are 480p while the rest of the content is 1080p. So it looks like the resolution matters in this case.
AVCHD-Patcher 1.04 plus hex editing the bdmv files resulted in a BD that gave a disc error.
