Negative size in Vobblanker (VTS4)

Straight from the rip, I loaded in Vobblanker and cut some frames in VTS4 (resulted in negative size). I processed in VObblanker (no errors) but the VTS4 is garbage (nothing is in proper order sequence).
It is not important (will not cut anything in VTS4) but I was just curious what could be the issue.
Before cutting the frames, it loads without errors in PGCedit and VOblanker and VTS4 is watchable.

Does it happen every time with this DVD? And only this DVD, I guess? If so, there may be something corrupt in the IFO.

Have you tried cutting at a different point? Is it always the same?

Since this is the only title in its VTS, you can also try to cut it with DVDShrink in re-author mode, and import the modified title back in the original DVD with PgcEdit's Import VTST Titles.

blutach: Yes, only this DVD (even , only that VTS). Yes, all the time, with that DVD (even did another rip with an older version of the ripper). I tried to cut a different point . Same thing, as long as I cut something( see Edit 2).

r0lZ: It seems that it worked once but cannot replicate it.
What I have done: Import VTS and copy VOBs (it created a VTS6). Went to VobBlanker and cut frames in VTS6.Still negative size.( It is the first time I am using the "import function"!). The DVD is loading without any issue in DVD Shrink.

If I did not cut some frames in VTS4, I would not have known that that IFO was corrupt and it seems I would have been able to make the backup without any issue (?). Should I make a test that the IFOs are good by cutting some frames in every VTS?

Edit1: r0lZ: I edited the post saying that I was not able to replicate the fix while you were answering to my post, but as you say, let's move on .

Edit2: If I cut enough frames, I go back into normal sizes again (straight from the rip). VOB1 in VTS4 probably corrupt.

Edit3: I was able to locate the area that was causing problem, split the whole cell into 2, the "troubling "area being the border and without cutting any frames, process in VobBlanker , reload and then cut the 100 frames I wanted to cut originally.

Should I make a test that the IFOs are good by cutting some frames in every VTS? I have no idea on the nature of the problem, so I can't answer.

Take in mind that PgcEdit is not a verifier. It is supposed to handle only the DVDs that are compliant with the DVD-Video standard. It tries to verify some things, but not everything! In particular, since it is (mainly) an IFO editor, it doesn't check the VOB files. According to the images you posted above, there is nothing wrong in the PGC tables.

Note also that DVDShrink is a good "pseudo-verifier". It is very picky, and refuse to load butchered DVDs. However, it issues only a global warning, and it is difficult to understand the problem. But usually I try to load the DVDs in Shrink, even if I do not need to shrink the DVD, just to see its reaction.

Also, perhaps your DVD is perfectly good, and you've found a bug in VobBlanker.
