Did research on this movie and can't find anything. Anydvd will not remove protection so I can back up my copy. Is there something I am missing?

Yes, using AnyDVD HD. Error I get is:update is needed to scan disc, cannot connect to update server.

I have full version, not trial. btw...

Ok, to create a log file:

Only create a log file with the original disk !!! It's useless otherwise. :devil:

a) Ensure Anydvd is running.
b) Put the problematic original disc in your optical drive/reader. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
c) Right click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
d) Select "Create Logfile"
e) Wait for Anydvd to create a log file.
f) A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile and the logfile's name. Click "ok".
g) Windows Explorer will open, and you will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip" (or something similar; see step f)

b.t.w. You should be asking this question on the Sly-forum. If it is really a problem with new protection they need the log anyway ! :readguid:

Also be sure to let AnyDVD connect to the internet so check your firewall !

Sounds to me like you have a firewall blocking AnyDVD.

Well, I got it work.

But now the movie skips where playing, even if I jump to another scene, it happens through out the whole movie.

I got it too work, but when I playback the movie, it skips and sputters. Is there a log file for skipping?

Log file for what? I got it too work, it works! It just skips when playing...


I am not being a jerk, I am just trying to understand what the log file is for when it works?

OK, here is the log file...it's actually from Bangkok Dangerous. I am having the same problem with play back of both movies. Both are choppy when played back. I am using Daemon Lite too mount the iso file and powerdvd and or windvd for playback...Version of Anydvd HD is 6.5.1.1

The reason he's asking for your log file is, regardless of the fact that it seems to be working, there is STILL information that is useful in there that can help figure out why you're having other issues.

-Don't use Deamon Tools, it's know to cause issues with ISO's :devil: , uninstall DT and the SPTD driver ! (http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads run programm and choose uninstall).
-You can use Virtual CloneDrive to mount your images.

I did everything, but I cannot mount anything in Virtual Clonedrive. It won't givee the option...this is all it has.

Open the Explorer - you'll notice a new drive there. Right click on that and you'll be able to mount...

Hey, that worked.

Thanks to you and SVT for the help. Mounted the volumn, opened with cyberlink and no skipping or choppy playback!
