Hi,

i just found the latest ffdshow release which has an integrated E-AC3 and TrueHD Decoder. I tried that with the Blu-Ray Police (VC1 Video and One TrueHD Track with 96Khz 24Bit). Unfortunately ffdshow always detects the embedded AC3 Track and plays that. Is there a way to really decode the High resolution tracks - any other decoder that can do that (without resampling)

Regards,

Alex

PS. I tested the Blu-Ray by Converting it to VC1 and LPCM (with Eac3to) and there I have the full 96Khz 24Bit trach (showed by reclock)

Have you enabled the MLP/TrueHD decoder in ffdshow?

I know for sure that what you want is possible. Or at least was possible when i tested it. Maybe newer versions have introduced a bug or something.

Hi,

thanks a lot for your answer. Well I tested the Police Blu-Ray which has definitly a 5.1 TrueHD Track (96Khz 24Bit). I used the FFDShow Trayout Beta 6 which has been released 23 Dez. I enabled this MLP/TrueHD Decoder but the FFDShow Status showed me

Input 6 Channel AC3 640Kbit. Also Reclock showed me 6 Channel 48Kzh 16Bit.

Which FFDShow release do you use. Which Player and OS. I use XP Sp3 and tested it with MPC ans also DVBViewer.

Regards,

Alex

Use the latest. Also try without reclock (don't know maybe this is it). Do you have another disc to try? I use mpc-hc, win xp also.
