Pineapple Express

Just bought the movie today and used dvd decryptor to back it up. Got to the vts_01_7.vob and about 97% of the way though it couled not read a sector. I hit ignore and same thing for the next sector. So I tried to skip that vob and the rest finished fine.

Well that finished fine and i started up dvd shrink. Well when I go to load the files it says that vts_01_8 is missing, but when I look in the dvd dycryptor screen there is no vts_01_8 file.

This is the first time that dvd dycryptor has not worked for me. Any ideas?

The DVD Pineapple Express has some nice copy protection on it. DVD Decrypter will not be able to handle it as you can see. I used the latest AnyDVD (6.5.0.8) with the AnyDVD Ripper and it went fine.

Good ol' RipIt4Me (I use v.1.6.4) easily and correctly processed the R1 version of the SONY-released "Pineapple Express" standard DVD...

RI4M (1.7.1.0) didn't work for me. It acted like it did, but the whole opening scene got dumped.

Neither did DVDFab (5.2.2.2).

AnyDVD, however, did the job.

That's odd... I was able to produce a good rip without any problems using the latest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter.
