Question for the experts about rip/compress

So I've been backing up for a long time using a combination of Ripit4me, Ifoedit, VobBlanker, and MenuEdit, with the occasional need for DVDFab. Then I compress with DVD Shrink.
This process can be very time consuming.

Is there a better 1-click solution available? I am looking to do the following:

1) Rip/Decrypt
2) Strip out many of the previews, extras, some audio tracks, etc
3) Inhibit playback of certain screens
4) Compress

This is all for standard DVD (no bluray or HD)

Most likely it will be a pay to use app like DVDfab or Slysofts Anydvd w/cloneDVD.

I find using AnyDVD with DvDShrink to be the fastest way to get it done... If you do it this way you must rip the dvd to your hard drive with AnyDVD to avoid Mastering errors.

Thanks... the problem with DVD Shrink is that it doesn't truly "remove" things like extras, or previews... it puts in a placeholder that will show (or chopped up video)... and I haven't found a way to inhibit showing of screens.... thats why there is so much prep BEFORE the shrink.

Is there a better 1-click solution available?(Payware) DVD95CopyPro - Rips (UN-select those items you don't want - extras, audiostreams, etc.), compresses, and burns...

I prefer CloneDVD 2 over DVD Shrink for those very reasons, but as mentioned it's not free. I see on their site that it's 55 Euro (About $75 USD) for AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2 together, which will do it all including burning in a few clicks.

I purchased only CloneDVD 2 and use the free rippers. I don't know if AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 alone can handle all disks with advanced copy protections.

When I was still using DVD's I used CloneDVD2 with AnyDVD to rip and preprocess (setting it to DVD+-R DL so no compression). By "preprocess" I mean unselecting the titlesets I didn't want. If there's any other cleanup you want, I would recommend VobBlanker to really dig some of the embedded "junk" out. For compression hands down I recommend DVD Rebuilder with HCenc. This will give you an excellent backup, but, I will fully admit, it's not 1-click. This would be my recommendation just to give you some other perspectives.
