View Full Version : From Subrip to DVDMaestro, a little conversion tool

This is a little and humble homemade program to convert from SONIC DVD CREATOR files (extract from vobs and made with Subrip 0.97b) to DVDMaestro STL format. I think it works fine, but if you have some problem please post your comments.

Only four arguments available:

SUBRIP2MAESTRO MATRIX.TXT MATRIX.STL R 30

Third argument is the font used:

R = Times New Roman
T = Tahoma
A = Arial
V = Verdana

And the last one is font size. Default values for the last two are Verdana 28.

what about using the original bmps instead?

Yep, that was my first intention, but I did some experiments with Matrix and Gladiator and found that Subrip generated some corrupt bmps (they look corrupt in DVDMaestro). I don't know why. So I have no confidence in that way. A wrong char with Subrip OCR in one thing, a bmp full of garbage is another. :)
