Hey, I'm pretty new to the TS format.
I'm trying to play a TS file (Japanese HDTV broadcast) with Vista 32-bit but am unable to get any audio output.

With VLC player, the video plays with no audio.
With Media Player Classic, the player crashes if ffdshow is set to decode the AAC. The player plays the file without audio if I disable AAC decoding from ffdshow.

Question is, how can I play this with audio? Here are the characteristics of the file:

Stream 0
Codec: mpgv
Language:
Type: Video
Stream 1
Codec: mp4a
Language:
Type: Audio
Stream 2
Codec: h264
Language:
Type: Video
Stream 4
Codec: mp4a
Language:
Type: Audio

Thanks in advance!

Usually the capture application comes with a player. What did you use to capture it?

I haven't personally captured the ISDB broadcast. It seems the only tool that will allow conversion into a more appropriate format is the latest DGIndex. It seems not alot of applications can actually handle a TS ISDB file. Thanks for the awesome tool!!!

I appreciate your words about the DGIndex, but you're confessing to a rule 6 violation here! Let me remind you that you may not discuss copyrighted materials received from another person that does not own the copyright. Thread closed.
