I wouldn't mind trying this out but I already have the programs installed as would most other people. I don't see the point in having them duplicated so, how how about just directing the program to the location of the other software.

You must now select the 4 utilities, but they can be anywhere on your PC

added DTS support (1 to 4 tracks)
increased how many AC3 tracks you can have (from 2 to 4)
Added "Check for Upgrade" button in the About tab

i don't see why you couldn't include all the other tools as the other authors do it too..

Very cool, any chance of the ability to accept BDMV folders as input? If not, can anyone suggest an MKV muxer which supports all BluRay video/audio/sub formats?

a message box pops up (titled "AutoIt Error") saying:
Line -1:
Error: Array variable subscript badly formatted

i press ok and the program crashes.

idbirch2's AVCHD Manager got me thinking, over the weekend I will increase episodes from 12 to 26. His should allow for complete seasons for TV shows. I will also make an option for PS3 folder format. I aimed this program for DVD use but idbirch2 has made me rethink that

still crashes after one file is finished..

how about the saving to external HD and not only to C:\
and multiple subtitles tracks will be a nice feature too :)

Thanks!

Completely reworked the way JAMAT gathers info on the MKV files
Changed allowed SRTs within the MKV from 1 to 1-4
Changed allowed external SRTs from 1 to 1-4 (needed file names also changed. If MKV is called "something.mkv" the SRT needs to be named "something1.srt" to "something4.srt")

JAMAT only checks for 1920 or 1280, but I've never tried it on non compliant streams

Krawitham,
Thx for the apps. I've tried 0.90 and 0.91, but somehow i can't make the subtitle to work (ie. to be muxed into the .m2ts).
When i do single title with tsmuxer independently, i got a working avchd disc with subtitle (the sub is in the original .mkv).
Using jamat .90 and .90, with sub (srt) as separate .srt files, i got a valid avchd disc but without subs muxed in the .m2ts and subtitle option on PS3 show "no subtitle".
Any thoughts? Haven't tried .93 yet.

cheers

Tested SRT in a MKV and it worked in powerDVD, Demuxing MKV now to grab SRT to test as a separate file

while I'm doing that, Download this
http://jamat.krawhitham.com/MKVchecker.7z

when ran it will ask for your MKV file, it will scan it (using tsMuxeR) and make a file called MKVinfo.txt. Post what is in the MKVinfo.txt file

My PC is running the program now, it's slow. So I'll reply with the laptop.
Here's my situation:
I have several mkvs with subtitle in it (muxed with audio/video). using tsmuxer, just to create 1 title avchd, i use 1 mkv (which has .srt inside it). I choose create blu-ray in tsmuxer, and the resulting folders are burned to a DVD-R. I checked the .m2ts within the STREAM folder, and it shows there are audio stream, video stream, and the subtitle stream. The AVCHD DVD-R plays as AVCHD (DVD-R) on my PS3. When i choose subtitle option in PS3, the subtitle appears.
Now, to create AVCHD with multiple titles using jamat .90 and .91, i use several MKV without subtitles. But, i put the corresponding .srt files (same name with the .mkv, but with .srt extension). I tested with only 2 titles, and with 7 titles. When .m2ts are created, i tested the .m2ts with tsmuxer. Tsmuxer only show 2 streams: video and audio. No subtitle stream.
This is the result of checking the radio button "Do you want to have subtitles" in Jamat.
I even tried with the combination: 0 dts, 1 ac3, 0 srt within mkv, and 1 srt outside/separate from mkv. resulting AVCHD DVD-R plays on PS3, but no subtitle.
So, yes, I have no problem with my .mkvs. I just haven't tested using jamat with subtitle (.srt) already muxed in the .mkv. Since the Jamat readme/guides stated it can use corresponding .srt provided the naming is the same or correspond with the .mkv, I was expecting I can put the subtitles by checking the "do you want subtitles.." in Jamat.

I'm getting ready to test separate SRT files, BUT with .88 and higher the name of the SRT files changed
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1230956#post1230956

they now need a 1,2,3, or 4 at the end of the file name (before the extension)

I will post the info in the 1st message

THAT NAILED IT.
The problem was indeed caused by subtitle name ruling. I added 1.srt, and now the resulting m2ts has video/audio/subtitle stream.
Burning disc now to test on my PS3.

Just curious...
has anyone tried AVCHD burned on CDR? (i.e. 5 x 100mb movie trailers in 720p)? I tried several times, burning with UDF.2.50. I got coasters, as ps3 won't see the CDR at all. The same AVCHD folder structure works when I copied it over USB, apply AVCHDME, and put inside \AVCHD in root.
On CDR, both with BDMV in \root and inside \AVCHD\, the PS3 won't see the disc.

imgburn no longer required, but if selected in the "Support Files" tab JAMAT will allow you to make an ISO or burn a disc
mkvextract can be used to pull chapters from MKV files* but is not required (also in the "Support Files" tab), If not selected you can still use an external .chap file or you will have a chapter every 5 minutes
Only truly required files are fixclpi.exe & tsMuxeR.exe, both of which are now included with the download

*The MKV file had to be create with the chapters included, most do not

How does this compare to this tool (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1228044#post1228044)? Is the goal the same? Does this tool offer more features or differ in some unique way?

The main difference is MULTIAVCHD uses the same menu no matter how many tracks you use, JAMAT uses a different menu depending on how many tracks you use. If you only use 4 tracks JAMAT will only show you 4 items in the menu, MULTIAVCHD has 20 items in the menu no matter what
