Best method for copying a DVD 1:1?

I'm just wondering what is the best method of backing up a DVD 1:1 to a dual layer disc?

In the past I've used DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD to do my rippings. I was told that by using DVD Decrypter that I can maintain the dual layer breaks. However, at the Slysoft forum, I was told not to use this method anymore.

Any comments on this?

There is no "best," partly because all disks cannot be handled the same way. For those without any advanced copy protections, you don't even need AnyDVD with DVD Decrypter - just rip, then burn.
