Redistribution for series

I'm trying to encode Mad Men, Season 1. For the first disc, the first 3 episodes span VTS 1 to 3, with VTS 4 being a short extra. In a case like this, should I enable "Apply Redistribution to All VTSs (series)"?

Yes. If it has multiple episodes it is a series disc.

But in that case the extra (VTS 4), which generally has a lower bitrate, will steal some bitrate from the episodes am I right?

But not enough to worry about... it will make the quality level consistent across the entire DVD.

If you are still want to tweak ater the redist, use the segment viewer.
