I've got some BluRay disks backed up to my HDD in various formats (MKV, M2TS, and MP4) all are in 720p.

My problem is while streaming MKV or MP4 files to the PS3 via Java PS3 Media Server, they skip like no other, while M2TS plays almost flawlessly.

So is there a good program where I can convert the MKV and MP4 files to M2TS?

I've used TSMuxer, but it doesn't seem to support very much audio (DTS audio isn't even tried to be coded..)

Re-encode from your original bluray disks using settings approriate for streaming.

I'm not going to comment on anything else other than to say you are incorrect about TSMuxer, it supports all forms of "HD" audio.

Apparently it is still broken for TrueHD.

@Neuron2,

I've read that multiple places and heard a few people on the Forum say this. The odd thing is that I've processed about 5 or 6 of my BD discs with TrueHD (I can't remember which actual titles but I'll get that info when I get home) with TSMuxer and never had a single issue. Do you have more information on the problems people are having with TrueHD?

As I understand it, TSMuxer works with some sort of AC3/MLP interleaving but not another type. This was covered at some point in the big eac3to thread, I believe, as eac3to was able to do the necessary conversion.
