If I wish to recode TrueHD 6.1 track (TrueHD/AC3, 6.1 channels, 48khz (embedded: AC3, 5.1 channels, 640kbps, 48khz)) to DTS-ES 6.1, whether that I should to check an option "phaze shift" in Pro Encoder ?

Yes, you should.
Why?
6.1 -> 6.1
The channels must be already differents.
For what a phase shift?
Merry Christmas.

I suppose the phase sifted channels get their original phase back after decoding... Am I wrong?
Anyway, DTS "prefers" phase shift.

At least ArcSoft decoder don't recover the original phase.
Anyway, DTS "prefers" phase shift.
Of course, all is question of tastes.
I prefer a good 5.1 than 6.1 because I don't have any audio input at the back.

What is the decoder you use for TrueHD decoding? ffmpeg? Maybe you can ask jruggle (http://forum.doom9.org/member.php?u=103412) (the developer) for a suggestion.

Just my opinion:
The phase shift is intended for new audio source, generated by yourself, to prevent coupling between channels.
When you transcode previous 6.1 sources the problem must be solved in source, and add a new phase shift can be worse.

??
DTS adds the phase shifted 6th channel in all cases.
They are there in ES encoded material and also added in EX material. This is because if the DTS 6.1 EX is played on 5.1 only equipment, the information contained in the 6th channel can be at least be heard mixed into the surround channels. And if the DTS EX is played on a 6.1 system, the phase mixed audio is removed from the surround channels so as not to interfare with the discrete 6th channel.
