Need help with timecode

I have a multi angle dvd that doesn't include any timing information, when i play it on my standalone it just lists the time progress as "Search" and i can't fast forward or rewind.
I think that most multi angle dvds stop you from searching but i'd just like to be able to see the time information.

It's NOT a Prohibited User Operations problem, I checked.

I've used IfoEdit to check the TMAPTI tables and there isn't much info in them.
I tried using PgcEdit to rebuild the timemaps, which when i recheck in IfoEdit says is successful but it still doesn't display the time or allow me to fast forward/rewind, either on a standalone or a program like PowerDVD.

I've seen other posts on here about this and tried out the methods but they never worked.
Can someone please tell me what i need to do to fix the dvd so that i can at least see the time on my standalone.

I'm not very familiar with IfoEdit or PgcEdit, so i'll need some easy to understand step by step instructions.

I hope this isn't asking too much and any help is appreciated, thank you.

Try to remove PUOs from the VOBs as well. Use the PUO plugin to PgcEdit.

Check if the Title PGC has Prev, Next or GoUp PGCN links: Double-click on the movie PGC in the left pane. The links are in the top left corner of the PGC Editor window, below the PUO field. They should be 0.

Also, look at the main movie PGC in the left pane. There is a "TTN #" in the label, followed by the Title number. Are there other PGCs in the same VTST domain with the same TTN number, and without Title number?

There isn't really a main movie, it's really around 26, 5-6 minute videos all linked using BOV.

There's about 26 titles, each has 3 PGCs with the same TTN number, the last 2 don't have the Title number next to it.

All the Titles look something like this -

VTST 1 , 1 TTN1 (4:10) 32b. Title 1
VTST 1 , 2 TTN1 (4:10) 32b.
VTST 1 , 3 TTN1 (4:10) 32b.

I've been trying to fix this for over a month and I tried your method and it actually worked, although now the BOVs point to different places, but i think i know how to fix this.

Just in case, what's the best program for changing the destination when a button is pressed?

I've can now fast forward the video, the buttons seem to work when i play it using PowerDVD but when i use it on my standalone, which is a Panasonic S75, the buttons point to different videos.
After using PgcEdit to eliminate the second and third PGC's of each VTS, DVD Remake Pro lists VTS 14, 21, 22, 23, 25 as referencing program chains that aren't there.

How do i edit the buttons so that they point to the correct videos? I've tried looking at the commands but can't make sense of them.

Can you recommend anything?

You need to change all references to uncalled PGCs to the one that you are keeping. Otherwise, the nav might be broken. So, if something points to now deleted PGC 2, change it to PGC 1.

But, a caution - many DVDs are authored badly and have jumps to non-existent stuff. Check to see if these PGCs are called at all. In PgcEdit, doing Remove useless stuff usually tidies things up nicely.

As well, it makes no sense that behaviour differs in terms of buttons in a software player compared to a standalone one. Check your buttons and where they are supposed to go. Do a trace in PgcEdit (with preview on) and inspect what is happening.
