dvd w/ video & picture slide show

Hello everyone,

I need to take a video and a set of pictures and put it onto 1 dvd. I would like to have it so that when you put the dvd into a stand alone player it will play, you could look at the pictures either in a slide show or individually or put it into a computer and look at the pictures that way. What would be the best way to pull this off?

I would do this :

- use a video editing software like Cyberlink PowerDirector to create a slideshow movie based upon the pictures you feed it with
- author a compliant DVD-VIDEO out of this movie (I think PowerDirector can do this also, I don't remember...). At this stage, you generally can decide to add DVD-ROM input as well on the disc. That's where you can add your pics.
