Caution about data loss using mkvmergegui to merge multiple files

I am successfully to merge multiple files into one by following help files. And I know that those files must be same format.

But I wonder will any data/quality loss after merging the file?

Or it is same as the original files?

the process is lossless, so the output will have the same quality as original files
