I need to re-encode a NTSC movie (marked as "Progressive" on DVD2AVI DG) to a PAL Progressive with CCE 2.7
Previously, I use VirtualDubMod to decode the MPEG2 video stream to an uncompressed AVI. After this, I use AviSynth to load this uncompressed AVI, convert it to 25 fps and obtain the standard 720x576 pixels (I want to make an anamorphic DVD). The reason of this step is that I need to make some fine cuts (single frames) and to add some logos. After this, I use the Vdub frameserver to feed CCE.
The encoded video looks perfect on the computer and domestic DVD, but the video stream is marked as "Interlaced" in DVD2AVI DG.
Is there any problem to make and to distribute the DVD with this interlaced video?. Is there any advanced option in CCE to obtain a progressive PAL video?
Thanks!
