Hi den78,

Now that I got your portable rev (2.53) to work, I would like to use Agkpal to change the filtering. I know where to put the new avysinthfilters for a "standard AGK" but not for the portable rev. Thank you for info on that subject and regards.

hi m8 :)
well, did you try any other path?

Thanks for the quick answer.

With standard install (DGindex not working with standard install for me atm; if it worked I wouldn't bother you) there is a "filters" sub-directory in the AutoGK base directory and I don't see that dir in your portable rev, neither base neither in the "
"\Auto Gordian Knot v2.53b Portable\Thinstall\Auto Gordian Knot v2.53b\%ProgramFilesDir%\AutoGK" one.
I really dont know the mechanics involved in making an app portable so I am in the dark actually..

Out of curiosity, how are you hiding the "Powered by VMWare" that typically pops up by default on apps created by ThinApp? Been trying to find a solution for a while now, with no luck.

I tried to use 2.48b putting it in my user home folder, but when I try to launch it, I cannot select the input file. I cannot drag my VIDEO_TS folder, and the button does nothing.

Vista Home Basic SP2 as standard user, which is why I am not using program files.

I've had various problems with the file I hosted, too.
I'm uploading another one right now, works better.

This doesnt work with Win 7 PCs...

I think its needing to be rebuilt with ThinApp 4.03+ ...

If whomever is compiling wants to get in touch we can sort this out so everyone can enjoy it :)

Thanks, seems to work fine now in W7 :thanks:

Actually it doesnt.. it seems the program relies on comdlg32.dll being installed on your Windows machine.

I get an error message on a fresh installed machine saying:

MediaInfo.exe - System Error - The program can;t start because comdlg32.dll is missing from your computer. Please reinstall..... etc

I can ignore it but it causes the AutoGK to pause which isnt helpful.

Never noticed it until I did a fresh install (not thru choice!) :(

This software is probably in violation of the VMware Thinapp EULA and could get doom9.org in trouble.

See http://www.vmware.com/download/eula/thinapp45.html

'You must have a separate VMware ThinApp license for each Device or individual named end user, except for Device or individual named end user running ThinApp in an authorized concurrent use environment.'

I don't think the Interwebs is an authorized concurrent use environment...
