Hi, where can i found a fresh build of xvid for use to max my quad core 6600?

Thank you very much boys, i think that MTK build is for multicore cpu, but i must set some special option in xvid settings? i put 0 or 4 in number of thread option? i use in my avisynth script setmtmode(5,0) for speed encoding, but there are some tips that i missed?

Now im using the last build of xvidvideo.ru (XviD-1.3.0 (CVS)-081213.02.23-VAQ-MTK x86/x64), im searching for a build, that increase the speed of encoding, i have a intel quad core, and i want use all power of this cpu, if is possible.

When i was read MTK, i was say, this is for Multicore cpu ....

MTK-build means bitrate is restricted to I think 6000 because DVD-Player with a build-in MTK-chip can not process bitrates higher than this.

Every build >=1.20 supports multicore-CPUs. Threads 0 or 4 should not make any difference, because normally the autodetection (threads = 0) should detect 4 cores which also can be supported if threads are manually set to 4.

Maybe it would be better, if the date in the filename of the xvid-bin. means when the sources are grabbed instead of the compiling-date, because latest can easily be seen in the filetime.

xvidcore contains both a build version string and a bitstream version. The bitstream version shouldn't be modified but I think the build version string can be set to anything. The About dialog of the VFW codec will display it (the date and time shown there are when the VFW component was built, not xvidcore). xvid_encraw also displays it, example:

Xvid has some crashing bugs that affect things I do. It'd be good to be able to do such basic Windows tasks such as "version checks" to verify that known-bad xvid versions aren't installed. :(
