Megui editing question

I have been searching and I can't find what I need. I want to encode The Transformers with Megui to compare how it looks to my standard 2-pass xvid via avisynth in vdubmod. I am running into a problem where I can't edit the episodes like I can with Vdubmod. The vobs are setup where there are parts of different toons on each vob. Will Megui do what I need it to do? While I am asking will vdubmod encode using x264. Thanks. -TM

megui is not an editor.
use avidemux and dump vdub(mod).

Thanks Sharktooth. I have also figured out what I needed to do. I went to the AVS Cutter and I selected the start and end frames. It worked on the first episode. Hopefully it will when I attempt the 2nd.

if simple cuts are what you need, then megui will do the job.
if you need more advanced editing, then megui cant help you.
