I am just wondering about this and need some clarification. The instruction says:

"Alternately, you can use DVD Decrypter, in FILE MODE, to rip the entire DVD, not just the movie, to your hard drive. With this method DVD Decrypter's output directory will be your SOURCE PATH. "

I thought if there is less compression the better the result. If I ripped movie only (with menu) and rebuilt it to fit a DVD 5 using DVD Rebuilder would it not produce a better quality. Of course I could be wrong, that's why I need an expert opinion.

Movie only will generally result in better quality. You can rip it "movie-only" and then use DVD-RB, or rip it as a whole and use DVD-RB in "movie-only" mode. Either way will get you to the same point.
