I suppose interlaced vc1 based m2ts or ts does not like Haali+WMVideo decoder DMO combination while mkv does.
(i mean the mkvs created by MKVMergeGui 2.4.0 which accepts raw vc1 files.)

Edit:Progressive vc1 has no issues with any container in using the same chain...

MC.m2ts splitted by DGSplit:
Does not work with Haali > WMVideo decoder DMO

MC.m2ts or MC.ts, created by TSMuxer using extracted vc1 by eac3to:
Does not work with Haali > WMVideo decoder DMO

MC.m2ts or MC.ts which is cut/remux by TSMuxer directly:
Does not work with Haali > WMVideo decoder DMO

MC.mkv created by MKVMerge Gui 2.4.0 which using the vc1 extracted by eac3to:
Does work with Haali > WMVideo decoder DMO

plays\looks fine in powerdvd 7.... nothing else tho...
