I succeeded in making a backup of my Wall-e DVD a few days ago. I used the software discussed here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=142893) to extract the data to my hard drive and then used Nero Recode to burn the back-up onto a dual layer disk. Problem I have however is the main movie on my backup disk will not play. All of the extra features will play just fine. And if I load the .vob files off of the backup disk I can play them individually. But I cannot play the movie from the menu screen nor the chapter selection screen.

Unfortunately I have no idea which file I need to fix to correct this. Could someone lend some help please?

Hi!used Nero Recode to burn the back-up onto a dual layer disk.1) Try using (freeware) IMGBurn instead of NERO Recode (Why are you using "Recode" to start with? You should, I believe, be using the primary NERO "Burning ROM", set to the "DVD-Video" icon). NERO has been indicated by others to have problems properly burning D/L discs.

2) Does your hard drive rip PLAY properly, when played "as a DVD" using a software DVD player, such as VLC?
