Recovering JPEG photos from a DVD?

Hi,

I have a photo album on DVD that we had created to automatically play all our favourite holiday photo's.

The file that has been created includes the following files - IFO, VOB & BUP.

However, I have now lost all the original photo's and so I want to convert this DVD back to its original j-peg format of each individual photo.

Is this possible, and if so, HOW??

It can be done with a variety of software by capturing individual frames, virtualdub is one example.

Bear in mind, however, that you may have lost a lot of detail, since the jpeg's you create off of the dvd will all be 720x480 (or 576 in you're in PAL land).
