VC-1 tools

Hello all. Unfortunately, i have video coded with Microsoft VC1 codec. I have last Windows Media Player 11 and codecs (no update avalable). But while showing video i have artefacts, big trouble with fast motion scenes. I never seen this trouble using mpeg2(into dvd9 movies),mpeg4 clips (xvid,divx),x264 codec video (at big bitrate too).

I have fast pc - it's not my hardware trouble 100%.

Using graphedit x32 i see what most of players try use to decode video filter called WMVideo Decoder DMO

So i have some quesions for guru :)

1. It's possible check VC-1 video for errors? Virtual Dub have tool like that, but it's cannot work with VC1 (for me)

2. What is best way to decode this crappy codec? What is dll use WMP11 to play? Where get last version decoder?

3. Any tool to transcode video stream to x264 avalable?

2) Arcsoft TMT (commercial) and MPC-HC (free). Check for the latest DX updates:
