Hi
After browsing through the various sections I thing I should ask here, but I'm not sure. If I'm in the wrong section, please forgive me and tell me where to move my question.

I have a few broken DVDs on my harddisk and want to burn them. Unfortunately something went wrong during their creation and I no longer have the source material. Here they are:

1 all *.vob files present, rest missing. Is there a program that can read in the vob files and let me select chapters. Problem is, I tried a few authoring programs, but none lets me open vobs.

2. all files there, but unfortunately only one giant (> 3 GB) vob file. Runs fine under videolan and several commercial DVD players but, of course, I can't burn it. How can I remedy this.

3. Garbled BUP / IFO files. The corresponding bups and ifos should be identical, but they aren't. Is there a way to find out which are OK and which are totally garbled.

Thanks for any input.

Desperately

I no longer have the source material. We can't help you with it then, per forum rule 6 and the announcement in the Newbies forum.
