i have a lot of questions abount the .m2ts files

are .eac3 files from hddvd diferent to .eac3 files from bluray ?
how can i see if the .eac3 file from bluray or hddvd ?
which programm must i use to edit the .eac3(?header) that i can put the .eac3 file from a hddvd movie into a .m2ts file that work on bluray

i have a popcornhour a110, very nice thing, i can play with them a backuped .m2ts from my bluray discs

if i play the backuped batman beginns .m2ts from my bluray disc with the popcornhour a110 and play forward, i do never have the exact time to they i play forward, it is only 2 or 3 minutes in the time range who i want jump to (but thats an problem from the popcornhour have i read)
i have backuped an other .m2ts file from my terminator bluray disc, and there i can play forward to 01:00:00 .. and the movie plays than from 00:05:00 or so
why are this so diferent ? is there anyway to edit .m2ts where i can not play corretly forward ?

anyone can give me an easy howto how do i convert my backuped hddvd to .m2ts ? and an howto how i do convert a .mkv (untouched video from hddvd inside) with extra .eac3 and .thd files (files are extra, in the .mkv are downconvertet ac3)

After demuxing with eac3to, an HD DVD sourced video should be the same as a BD one. HD DVD VC-1, for instance, have pulldown flags and are identified as 29.97fps but eac3to removes that by default so the result is 23.976 the same as BD. However, when it comes to audio, Dolby Digital Plus was common with HD DVD but in a form incompatible with BD. It should still work in an M2TS file just not in a BD format.

Hope that helps a bit.

earl,
you can use eac3to to demux and reencode eac3 to ac3,
you can not leave eac3 as it is since it is not mandantory on
SA BDPlayers.
if you will use subtitle, you have to make it BD compatible with SupRead.
For making BD, you can use TSMuxer.

yup, i know .. eac3to can make .eac3 -> .ac3
but i will not convert anything, i will have untouched audio
is there no way ?
no bd authoring tool that can make hddvd.eac3 -> bd.eac3 ?

You can make it ofcourse but you can not use with a standalone BD player; though you can play it with a HTPC software player.
Take a look at this:
