Hi!
I've read the "Turning Subtitles On by Default v2.0a" (http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/2cool/subtitles/subtitles_on_default_pgcedit.htm) guide (by 2COOL) and I did what it is supposed to do.
But I later found out that doing that way I cannot change anymore the subtitles from my Subtitle menu :( !!!
Isn't there another method to activate a subpic by default AND to make possible to change (or disable) subtitles from the 'option' menu (I mean the one where you can select audio languages and subtitles) ?
I believe that there MUST be :)
But I don't know how :(
Please, help me!
:thanks:
(in advance)

Use the Jump2PGC Upon DVD Insert function of PgcEdit, but instead of stopping your trace at the first menu, continue on to the subtitle menu and select your preffered language there.

Thanks, but it seems that doing that way my DVD will start from subtitle menu, right  ?
Instead, I'd want my DVD to start from main menu...

No, after selecting your subtitle, return to the main menu. Then call the function.

Er... excuse me, I don't get it
I never used PGCedit before so you should be more... 'elementary' with your explainations :p
So... if you want to help me (and I hope so!), please explain one step to another, ok :) ?
I open PGCedit and then I open my DVD, ok?
Then I click PGC -> Jump to PGC upon DVD insert, but here's what I get:

What should I do now?

Have a look at blutach's guide (http://www.digital-digest.com/~blutach/Jump2PGC/Jump2PGC_guide.html) available on my homepage.

And Lorix, lose the attitude. I referred you to the guide and have already provided a step by step. Try something for yourself. You can't break anything.

Excuse me, I've messed up with the links :p
I've read your guide but before start doin' anything, I tried one last thing; I had this script, I could not remeber it very accurately, but it should be like this:
********** pre commands:
1 Set gprm(12) =(mov) gprm(13)
2 Set gprm(13) =(mov) 0
3 if ( gprm(12) != 65535 ) then { LinkPGCN PGC 2 }
4 SetHL_BTN GPRM12
5 LinkPGCN PGC 2
********** post commands:
********** cell commands:
Well, I tried to ERASE the 4th line and in its place I inserted this one:
SetSTN (subp=0: on )
...and... it WORKED
I don't even know how, but finally I have a perfect working DVD, which does exaclty what I wanted it to do :D
:thanks: a lot anyway, and excuse me again for my insistence :p
