After some confusion in the other thread, i will be sure to word what i have to ask here very very carefully :

I have some HD .mpg files that where created with mkv2vob. The originals are gone and i need to split these files. And just to be sure so that no one here could even assume that something is not legal about these files that i am talking about :

- The files that i am taking about are originally from a canon hf100 camcorder and were in avchd format, those were converted to .mkv files to play on a dvico tvix. I am not discussing anything downloaded from any online source, just the files that i made myself with the canon hf100.

- As i now have PS3's instead of dvico's i had to convert the mkv files to ps3 format with mkv2vob

Because we have a second ps3 that is not connected to our in house network, well not fast enough anyway, i want to split these hd .mpg files in parts that are below 4gb.

I tried many programs to split these HD .mpg files that are created by mkv2vob but none seem to accept these files. The files do play perfectly on both the pc and the ps3 that is connected.

Any help would be appreciated !

You can't re-post the same issue from a closed thread.

In your previous thread you admitted to downloading them, and in your PM to me you told me you would repost about it but just not admit that they were downloaded.

Do not re-post this issue again. Appeal the decision to Doom9 if you feel the moderating decision was wrong.
