What is the best method/programs to convert dvd to mp4?


I have read that it is not possible to have ac3 or dts audio in a mp4 file,is that so?

if you want h264 video then I highly recommend RipBot264 for its ease of use and simplicity. If you want other video format, then have a look at MeGUI which is also pretty good
