How do I save Flash Video (.SWF) files from web sites that do not allow downloading (such as the Daily Show). The other methods I have tried you have to watch the whole video or it only downloads the commercials.

.SWF isn't flash video, .FLV or .MP4 is.
The simplest method is the obvious one: just grab it from your browser's cache when its done downloading. This works even when things like DownloadHelper don't.

I tried that but the only files I see in video format were the commercials. Tried in both IE and Firefox. Thanks.

Orbit Downloader (http://www.orbitdownloader.com/) is my favourite tool for this and is pretty good.

Thanks, but the only video items that Orbit (at least from the web pages I am trying to get video from) is the commercials..... Any other options out there?
