Subtitles in *.m2ts files ?

I have blu ray format files *.m2ts and *.srt files.

Whiches program can i use to add the subtitles to the files?

Default subtitle will be the first one which you loaded into TSMuxer. Though you have to select it on the player as "subtitle 1".

So, if I understand correctly, it is not possible with the BD format (by playlist?) to have a subtitle shown automatically? Or in other words it must always be turned on manually after playback has begun?

Yes, this is what i know.
Unless you make a hard-subbing...
If you remux video, audio and srt into an mkv container, subtitle will be a destiny; not "default" on MPC-HC.
