mkvtoolnix 2.4.0 - how to add .dtsma .thd .eac3 into .mkv file ?

how do i add .dtsma or .thd or .eac3 files into a .mkv file ?
there is no option in mkvmerge to add .dtsma or .thd or .eac3files
how does it work ?

Have you just tried dragging and dropping?
I have never tested eac3/thd/dtsma with mkvmerge, but i know it works as eac3to can do it.

i'll rip a eac3 track off a HD and try it with mkvmerge

OK eac3 is not listed in the drop down box when you click add, but if you drag and drop it works perfectly, i just added a eac3 track to a MKV and it worked fine.

oke, thanks for the info, i works by me too
but how can i add .thd and .pcm files ?
i become an error message if i put these files per drag and drop in mkvmergegui

What does the error state?

If mkvmerge can't detect the stream properly it won't add it, and will throw an error.

I am fairly certain it will accept pcm, but not overly sure about thd.

mkvmerge says :

File identification failed for '/pathtofile/file.pcm'. Return code: 2

Error end-of-file
Error: File /pathtofile/file.pcm
has unknown type. Please have a look at the supported file types ('mkvmerge --list-types')
and contact the author Moritz Bunkus <moritz@bunkus.org> if your file type is supported
but not recognized properly.

with .thd files the same problem ;-/

I just used eac3to to convert a eac3 file to pcm and added it to a MKV just fine, sounds like your clips are dodgy.....

PS PCM are very large files, it would be in your interest to convert to AC3 or somethign similar first.
