I don't know, but you can decode or transcode the audio with dshow2wav (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1210159#post1210159).

Hi!How to demux audio from .wmv ?Most likely by using the same software you used to mux the WMV that you created - Or you could simply use the audio that you initially extracted from the original source you used to create the WMV...

Example used: Windows Media Stream Editor (Windows Media Encoder) or AsfBin or FFmpeg.

By comparison I am really surprised Microsoft has really done very little in supporting WMA/WMV tools for there xbox 360 group as well as conversion tools and on line guides.
Since Microsoft was fined by the EU and the Toshiba/Microsoft HD DVD folding we have heard very little in terms of Microsoft media direct.
At one time I wanted to pm Ben Wagnor from Microsoft about that. Sorry Ben if I misspell your last name here but did not converse with him.
