I ripped Troy from Blu-Ray, then 300. Used tsmuxer and narrowed it down to a ts file containing AC3 audio and VC-1 video, which won't work through tversity.
Can anyone help?

I just heard,
if you burned a AVCHD DVD, then PS3 will play only if video is H264 and Audio AC3.
Nothing else will work on PS3 using a DVD!

That's not correct. In answer to the original question, the PS3 does not support streaming of VC-1 video over a network regardless of what app you use to serve it up. Regarding burning a bluray structure to a DVD, any of the BluRay video/audio formats will work if you use this method so thats H264, VC-1 and MPEG2, AC3, DTS, DTS-HD etc
