hello.

sometimes its better for me when creating a backup,to split a large dvd to 2 dvds.one for the main movie and one for the extras.

with dvd-rb its a piece of a cake to create a backup for the main movie.
but unfortunately i havent noticed a backup mode for the extras+menus without the movie.i know that other programs do this, like dvdshrink and nero recode, but only dvd-rb supports batch jobs.

so my question ism if there is a way which i havent noticed, that i could set dvd-rb to create a backup from the original dvd, keeping everything [menus+extras] apart from the main movie.

if it is not supported at all, could u recomend me another method which can do this using batch jobs?

thanx
i searched the backup modes but i didnt find such a feature.

You could just blank out the main feature to create an Extras-Only disc.

You could just blank out the main feature to create an Extras-Only disc.how exactly do i do this?disable one click mode, do a prepare phase, then use the segment editor (preview/edit) to blank. save changes and allocate saved space.
after that, just hit rebuild.

After you have blanked the movie, just save and quit. You can also use VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm) to split disks (keeping menus on both).
